We are committed to

Diversity Equity Inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are integral to RICHTER + RATNER’s identity, our approach to work, and an invaluable component to our continued success.

Approach

Diversity allows crucial innovation and expertise to flourish, supporting the needs of every client and project. Richter + Ratner is committed to advancing opportunities for minority, women, and service-disabled veteran-owned firms to compete in the procurement of goods and services for our projects. We continuously identify and qualify minority-owned businesses to support our work across all areas of the construction field. Whenever possible, we participate in outreach programs and support organizations that promote diversity within our industry.

Culture

Our corporate culture reflects and represents the inherent diversity of our society. At Richter + Ratner, every employee grows and contributes with equal opportunity in an environment predicated on respect and authenticity. Communication, tolerance, and sharing of experiences and perspectives enhance our firm’s culture and growth. There is no tolerance for bias, prejudice, or discrimination. Our community, comprised of individuals with a wide array of backgrounds, skills, and values, cultivates the foundational diversity our office environment and construction sites thrive on.

a proud supporter and partner of the AECI

RICHTER + RATNER is a proud supporter and partner of The NYC Charter High School for Architecture, Engineering, Construction Industries (AECI). Our Summer 2024 Construction Management Internship Program provided students the opportunity to gain real world knowledge and experience both in our corporate office and on our active project sites.

We make a difference

We support organizations that foster equal opportunity for all.

Diversity and inclusion are ever evolving, and so are we. Richter + Ratner’s vision is to honestly reflect and accurately represent the inherent diversity in our society in every facet of our organization. Increased inclusion prevents problems rather than solving them. Increased communication, tolerance, and sharing of experiences and perspectives, continue to positively impact our risk management and safety, the very cornerstone of our business.
